Stretch & Reset

Reclaim Your Mobility .... and Feel Good

This class encourages you to slow down, unwind, and let your body and mind float. Stretch & Reset combines gentle, targeted stretching with the support of props and, where appropriate, aerial yoga swings.

Backed by the Science of Stretching, this practice is both deeply calming and effective. Timed, slow holds (2–5 minutes) with restorative reset poses between stretches create space for relaxation, reflection, and stress release.

It’s ideal for anyone recovering from injury, managing anxiety, or looking for a safe introduction to stretching and mindful movement. Each class closes with a guided meditation while you float in the swings – leaving you relaxed, centred, and supported.

Why students love it here:

  • Gentle, accessible stretches for all levels — no yoga experience required
  • Uses props and aerial swings to support the body and release tension
  • Encourages improved flexibility, mobility, and posture
  • Activates the parasympathetic nervous system to calm the mind and reduce stress
  • Combines movement, breathwork, and mindfulness for a holistic sense of ease
  • Small classes allow time to adapt to individual needs
  • Safe for injury recovery or those wary of movement

What you'll experience:

You’ll move slowly, breathe deeply, and laugh and chat along the way as we work through stretches that release tension and open the body. Happiness and laughter release endorphins, helping calm the nervous system and enhance your stretch response for better results. The aerial swing and props allow you to safely deepen stretches, float, and even pause in positions for mindful reflection. In our small classes, everyone receives personalized attention, leaving you feeling lighter, more open, and deeply connected to your body. Over time, students notice improved strength, flexibility, balance, and a greater sense of self-care and self-compassion.

Perfect if you're:

  • Looking for a safe, gentle stretch class
  • Seeking relief from tension, tightness, or limited mobility
  • Curious to explore mindful stretching in a playful, supportive environment
  • Wanting to build confidence, body awareness, and self-care in a nurturing space

What to Wear

For all mat-based classes, simply wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

After Class

After class, give your body a little time to settle before any intense or load-bearing activity, as your muscles will be more open and flexible than usual. This way, you’ll enjoy the benefits safely and comfortably – upside down or otherwise!
